Discussion on “COP- 29: Our Expectations”
Bangladesh Labour Foundation has arranged a discussion on “COP 29 Climate Conference 2024: What are we expecting?” in November 9,
workshop with the tower-based unit committee
A workshop focused on developing action plan with the tower-based unit committee was organized by the Bangladesh Labour Foundation (BLF) with the support of Mondiaal FNV on October 21, 2024, in Keraniganj, Dhaka.
Several key initiatives have been outlined:
★ A tower-based leaflet distribution campaign will be conducted to raise awareness of trade unions.
★ The tower-based committee will be presented to strengthen coordination.
★ Worker grievances will be received and addressed through the Trade Union office.
★ A committee reformation will take place within three days.
★ Over 200 new trade union memberships will be targeted between November 2024 and January 2025.
★ Membership dues will be collected with receipts at the tower level.
★ Tower-based awareness session programs will be organized.
