Workers Voice on COP 30: Youth for Workers Demand

Trade union leaders gathered today to discuss and shape the Worker-Centric Charter for Just Transition ahead of COP 30. Under the banner of the National Alliance for Just Transition, the charter was presented by Zubaer Alam, Program Officer, Bangladesh Labour Foundation (BLF).
 
Sohanur Rahman, Executive Coordinator, and Saila Sobnom, Additional National Coordinator, from YouthNet Global, sharing their insights on COP 30, Just Transition, and the importance of engaging youth and trade unions in climate action. The event highlighted how meaningful collaboration between young trade unionists and climate advocates can ensure that the transition to a green economy remains inclusive, fair, and worker-centered.
