Upazila Child Labour Coordination Meeting in Keraniganj

Bangladesh Labour Foundation – BLF, DIFE and Upazila Administration of Keraniganj jointly organized Upazila Child Labour Coordination Meeting in Keraniganj on 22 May 2023 at the Upazila Auditorium in Keraniganj.

 

The meeting was presided by the Upazila Nirbahi Officer of Keraniganj while BLF Secretary General Z M Kamrul Anam was attended the meeting as Chief Guest. All departments representative of Upazila Administration, Local Police Stations representative, Employers Association, Workers Union, Journalists were present in the meeting.

 

The meeting discussed the current progress of National Plan of Action to Eliminate Child Labour from Keraniganj and the key challenges with further recommendations from BLF and DIFE. The participants agreed and committed to eliminate the child labour from Keraniganj within the time frame thus a joint monitoring committee was formed in the meeting and a series of activities has been planned.
