Training on GBV & OSH for Home-Based workers
A two-day training on Gender-Based Violence (GBV) and Occupational Safety & Health (OSH) was organized to enhance awareness about workplace safety and gender equality for Home-Based workers. Supported by Oxfam GB and funded by the European Union, the training was conducted by Bangladesh Labour Foundation (BLF) on 21-22 December 2024 at Ashulia, Savar, Dhaka.
This initiative is paving the way for gender justice, safer workplaces, and decent work opportunities. Most Home-Based workers are deprived of a healthy working environment, proper equipment, and robust labour protection.
The training aims to:
