International Labour Day 2025

Bangladesh Labour Foundation (BLF) proudly celebrated International Labour Day 2025 through powerful events at the National Press Club, Keraniganj, and Savar Tannery Industrial Estate—amplifying the voices of workers across both formal and informal sectors.

  • In Dhaka, a rally and human chain highlighted the urgent need for Human Rights and Environmental Due Diligence (HREDD) and fair policies in the face of automation.
  • In Keraniganj, we stood in solidarity with informal and home-based RMG workers, calling for decent work, fair wages, social protection, and an end to child labour.
  • In Savar, tannery workers united to demand safe working conditions, minimum wage implementation, gender equity, and strong union rights.
