Bangladesh Labour Foundation (BLF) with support of Mondiaal FNV proudly organized a day-long workshop on Human Rights and Environmental Due Diligence (HREDD) with committed Trade Union Leaders from various sectors.
This impactful session focused on the pivotal role that trade unions play in promoting transparency, accountability, and sustainability within the labour supply chain.
Through engaging discussions, experience sharing, and capacity-building exercises, the workshop aimed to deepen the understanding of HREDD principles and empower union leaders to advocate for workers’ rights while supporting environmentally responsible practices.
The collaboration between civil society and workers’ representatives is essential in shaping a future where businesses respect both people and the planet.
