Strengthening Next-Gen Trade Union Leadership in the Tannery Sector

Bangladesh Labour Foundation (BLF), with the support of Mondiaal FNV, organized a series of training sessions for youth and women potential leaders in the tannery sector, focusing on trade unionism and organizing. In order to strengthen their skills and promote inclusive leadership inside trade unions, the program brought together up-and-coming worker leaders.

Building Inclusive Leadership for the Future

The seminar focused on the necessity of encouraging young people and women to actively participate in trade unions in order to address generational shifts. It sought to guarantee leadership that represents the variety of the workforce and to enhance democratic participation in the workplace.
