Ruben Korevaar, Policy Officer; Eva Scheffer, Fund Raising Officer and Md. Shahinur Rahman, Consultant of MondiaalFNV visited project office of Bangladesh Labour Foundation (BLF) in Savar Tannery Estate, Dhaka. During this time they have visited different factories and discussed with the employers regarding the current status of TIE, Dhaka. Later they met with the leaders of Tannery Workers Union (TWU) and learned about the unions activities. Afterwards they went to the local project office and briefs the colleagues. They also expressed their expectation to work together in future to develop the betterment of the tannery sector and tannery workers as well. BLF Secretary General Z M Kamrul Anam and Deputy Director Program Mahmudul Hasan Khan was present among others during the visit.
