Gender-Based Violence is a violation of Human Rights. Women and girls, including children, are the biggest victims of Gender-Based Violence. This is a widespread problem that affects the lives of millions of women worldwide. Its prevalence is now increasing very terribly by the intersecting crises of Climate change, the COVID-19 pandemic, Global Conflict, and Economic instability. Most women experience violence from an intimate partner. For these experiences, the immediate and long-term physical, sexual, and mental consequences for women and girls can be devastating, including death.
