Strengthening Social Dialogue for a Worker-Centred Just Transition

The First Workers’ Just Transition Focal Point Meeting was held at Bangladesh Labour Foundation (BLF), bringing together representatives from trade unions, labour rights organizations, and the International Labour Organization (ILO). The meeting served as a platform for dialogue and collaboration on advancing a worker-centred and equitable transition in Bangladesh.

The meeting focused on enhancing cooperation among workers’ organizations and stakeholders to promote climate justice, labour rights, social protection, and decent work. Participants shared updates on their ongoing initiatives related to just transition and discussed opportunities for coordinated action. During the session, BLF also presented its key priorities and planned interventions on Just Transition for 2026.
