International Women’s Day 2025

This International Women’s Day, Bangladesh Labour Foundation (BLF) proudly celebrated the achievements and struggles of women workers through vibrant, inclusive programs held across National Press Club, Keraniganj, Savar, and the Ashulia. From home-based RMG workers to tannery workers, women from diverse sectors joined rallies, discussion meetings, sports competitions, and human chains—demonstrating unity, power, and purpose.

With the global theme “For ALL Women and Girls: Rights. Equality. Empowerment.”, BLF reaffirmed its commitment to:

• Fair wages and equal pay. 
• Safe and decent working conditions. 
• Maternity benefits and social protection.
• Freedom of association.
• Protection from harassment and violence.

Many workers, union leaders, local administrators, and stakeholders stood together for a world where every woman is respected, valued, and empowered to thrive.
