UNITE! Invest to prevent violence against women and girls

Tomorrow 25 November, the International Day for the Elimination of Violence Against Women followed by the global 16 Days of Activism Against Gender-based Violence. On the occasion of the day, Bangladesh Labour Foundation – BLF has taken a 16 days program in different industrial cluster to amplify, and strategize to achieve commitments to eliminate violence against women from the workplace.

Ending violence against women is possible, but only if we act together, now. Bangladesh Labour Foundation – BLF plays a key role promoting attention and respond violence against women at workplace in both formal and informal sector in Bangladesh. BLF is engaged in advocacy to enact law to prevent GBV at workplace and the educational institutions. We are also working for immediate ratification of ILO C190 and its proper implementation in Bangladesh.
